I find the act of individuals standing on street corners with buckets and wearing t-shirts adorned with the face of Jesus a bit disturbing and unfortunate. Not to mention that this form of "fundraising", or soliciting as it's more commonly known, is illegal in many states. Actually, you know what, I find it more than disturbing... I find it rather aggravating. Come to think of it, I don't ever recall seeing any of the world's major religions on a street corner or roadway asking for money. If your "denomination" can't support itself perhaps you should take up that issue with your supposed congregational members and not subject everyone to your need of handouts, which closely resembles begging. Oh, and by the way, I'm sure Jesus appreciates the use of His image to drum-up emotions so people are more willing to give -- Nice and classy folks.
