explain what this means? It's directly outside an elevator and I'm not exactly sure why it's posted. What happens when you remove the "Please do not Remove" paper taped to the ground?

family concert came and of course went as it has for the past 19 years. I'm continually amazed how fast time passes and how busy with complete nonsense we can so easily become. Not that any of this actually has anything to do with our concert, but the beginning of the xmas season always forces me to make sure I'm taking the time to enjoy all the little, what some would say insignificant, things life throws at me daily. Here's to another bowl of good times.
