Staying on the digital camera wagon...

Well I've done it.

I have finally purchased a proper digital camera -- the Canon S70. 7.1 effective megapixels, RAW image capture, 28mm - 100mm lens (35mm film equivalent), etc. So far, I really like it and got a pretty good deal. Of course, I'm having my Canon employee friend check to see if a better price can be found (though the Best Buy 4 year warranty, which I've had to take advantage of with my iPod (yielded me a new one) is a good sell). FYI: Steve's-Digicams is a great resource for in-depth reviews and detailed information.

I think I've figured out...

that I normally drive much faster in my car than on my gixxer. Don't get me wrong, I don't shy from the occasional wrist-flick but 80 mph winds in your face are completely different than the same winds deflected by a massive cage windshield.

I had the fortunate opportunity...

to watch a baseball game last night from a suite as oppoosed to the regular everyday seats of the stadium. Completely different experience to say the least! Now that's how you watch a game -- catered food, drinks, and plenty of room to walk around when the situation calls.

And back we go home again...

after such a wonderful break from monotony.

Right now...

I'm watching a mini fashion show at The Fashion Mall on The Strip. Pretty cool -- I absolutely love the way models walk... so deliberate!

Only in vegas...

can you start drinking at 10am and be surrounded by like minds.

First night here...

and I am tired -- don't think I slept enough last night. Of course, not the best thing to do when you're coming to a 24/7 city.

Leaving for Vegas...
