Tiger and so far no major hiccups. I chose not to import all my information and data over from my backup which may prove to be a bit more of a task than I originally anticipated. Nonetheless, we are off and running and hopefully all will proceed smoothly.

Here we are folks!...

Tiger arrived last night and I'm now in the process of cloning my hard drive with a rather intuitive and easy to use backup utility called SuperDuper!. So far it actually is working super duper though cloning an 80 gig drive that's 85% full is probably going to take some time. I considered holding off until the first patch update for the initial install but I figure with a full bootable backup I might as well live up to my early adopter practices. This is also affording me an excellent opportunity to move my entire iTunes library over to my external hard drive (it's grown way too big for my 80 gig to house both library AND everything else under the hard drive sun). Well here we go... my next post will hopefully be from a brand new pristine installation of our newest friend, Tiger.

Driving down the street...

on my way home from meeting with a client... very tired... not really paying attention... stop sign coming up... gotta get home, finish laundry, head back to work... WOH!! WHERE'D THE RUNNER COME FROM!! Sorry big guy, didn't mean to almost END YOUR LIFE on a nice sunny morning! Suppose I should be a bit more conscious when approaching stop signs in my neighborhood.

What's the deal...

with people putting an insane amount of stuffed animals in the back window of their car? Is all that really necessary? It's rather obvious that no child has, or will be, touched(ing) the little thingers any time recently or soon. How exactly do they see out of the window anyways?

3G 40GB iPod back from the Best Buy hospital (that extended warranty comes in handy) for the backlight not coming on when holding down the Menu button. Supposedly, it's fixed and I now have the luxury of reloading 4349 songs back on my audio addiction device. All I can say is thank God for firewire!
